We had the best time at this rental for the week of spring break. The staff were so nice and pleasant and very accommodating. The unit was absolutely beautiful and very well-maintained.

From check in to check out - our stay was absolute perfection. The check in instructions were clearly communicated. The Mainsail Inn staff was helpful and friendly. The unit was clean and well stocked. The beach was heavenly. The island had everything we needed. Check out was a breeze. It was all perfection. We will for sure be back.

Unit 2 was perfect! Cleanliness and layout was perfect! Loved the ease of checking in and out plus the assigned parking was nice! Our only disappointment was that it didn’t have private beach as stated on website!

The beds were exceptional. Unit very clean and exactly what we needed for our little get away. Beautiful sunsets every night. Steps from the beach. Staff was very accommodating. Highly recommended and worth every Penny.

Everything was great!the room was beautiful.
The only small issue is the outdoor deck was coming apart on the seat ledge and the one deck chair needs to be replaced. Other than that- perfect!

Mainsail has it all! This was our first visit to the area. The location was perfect. We stayed in condo #2. It was on ground level. Steps to the beach. The unit has everything you need. It was also very clean. Matthew greeted us upon arrival. He was extremely kind and happy to assist with any needs. We were impressed by his level of customer service. I can tell he is a huge asset to that business.

Our experience here was wonderful from booking through checkout. Every staff we interacted with were great, but have to give a special shout out to John! He was the best! He welcomed us there, showed us around the unit and gave us great ideas on places to visit while we were there! We looked forward to getting to talk to him when he was there. The unit itself was everything we wanted! The deck was perfect and we enjoyed having our morning coffee and being able to walk right out to the beach. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is just perfect. We would definitely come back and stay in this unit!

We have been renting Mainsail condos for years. We would like to see a frequent renter option for savings. carpet on stairway very stained, rugs in unit very dirty. furniture very poorly arranged in this unit. Kitchen supplies are at the lowest we have ever seen.

We have been visiting Mainsail for several years, each time, staying in a different unit. The location is perfect and the units are tasteful and for the most part, well appointed. Our children enjoy the pool, and we have always found the front desk to be helpful and friendly. Our issue with Mainsail, is that over the years, its prices have risen while its services have diminished. It used to be that there was a cleaning service every other day. This gesture of hospitality made guests feel more taken care of, and distinguished Mainsail from a standard house rental. On this last visit, we stayed for two weeks, and paid several hundreds of dollars over and above our daily rate, for the additional cleaning service. Fresh towels, a light cleaning, should be offered with the price of the room. Some units are in need of renovation. The screen on our window fell off and the paint on the kitchen cabinets was shabby and chipped. Some of the bathrooms are very outdated. Our kitchen, was missing several useful items. When we asked for fresh towels, (we are a family of five) we were given two. Again, were the rates not so high, we'd not have minded. Your rates need to reflect what is being offered/not offered. One BBQ for the entire complex does not suffice. With some small adjustments, Mainsail could return to being and excellent place to stay.

Overall good property directly on beach in anna Maria Island. No complaints except sound travels perfectly from unit to unit. Could hear every bathroom visit upstairs, every step taken and most conversation. If you stay, ask for floor 3 not ground level unit.

We stayed in Unit 2A for a week in October '21. We arrived late, but had no trouble getting into the building because of the clear instructions we had received prior to our arrival. The unit was spotless. We had excellent weather. The patio in the back was great. While the property is right on the beach, there was just the right amount of privacy behind the plants and bushes next to the porch. A minor annoyance was the car traffic around the parking area next to the restaurant which was immediately adjacent to the property. Overall, we would highly recommend this vacation property.

Management was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Unit #2 and loved the ocean front patio and the easy access to the beach. The 2 bedroom/2 bath condo was clean, nicely furnished, and well stocked (although as others have mentioned the couch is a bit hard.) Good A/C. Nice bed linens and plenty of bath towels along with ample beach towels. Washer and dryer with laundry detergent is a plus. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, another huge plus. We used the outdoor grill by the pool and enjoyed floating around in the pool which, surprisingly, wasn’t crowded.
All in all, a wonderful experience and we would come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mainsail. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our condo was exactly as described. There were no issues had during our stay! We will definitely book with Mainsail again!

My stay was great. We were there during a hurricane. Felt safe in the beautiful unit. I wish there had been a bit more guidance from the property staff and AMI on what to do or how to prep.
However the unit cannot be beat. We love to cook and they had all the right tools and amenities for that. The staff was fantastic in all other regards. We are booking again.

Our AC went out BUT within a small time frame the staff had it fixed and back on. Yay!

I can't compliment the staff enough. Always had a smile on their face and more than willing to help or answer any questions you might have. Property is well maintained, you can tell it is getting time to do some refurbishing, but nothing that took away from our time there. Only down side is that it is next to a public entrance to the beach and Anna Maria has gotten crowded compared to years past. We would wake up in the morning to find people were already setting up there tents for the day, even though they never went stepped on the beach until several hours later. Guess that is going to happen when you have a great location.

Stayed here 5 or 6 years ago and loved area and property. Property Management personnel were excellent!!! Property just needs some TLC - worn out rugs, cabinets bubbling, patio furniture dirty and splitting, faucets & bath fixtures discolored, etc. Basically, it is just in need of a renovation. Again, location, area and property management - perfect.

this was a great location and the staff were would have been nice to have more silverware..( only 2 teaspoons and 6 forks and knives) ceiling fans in bedrooms were very noisy.

We had a lovely stay at Mainsail. Our accommodations were wonderful with great access to the beach, especially for our children. Unfortunately, hurricane Eta made an appearance and the staff at Mainsail were very accommodating to our needs and safety.

The hotel is very nice. For the room rate I expected more. I understand COVID and the need to sanitize, but the extra charge was way too high. The hot tub was too hot and we could not enjoy it. Other guests made comments also. The child's bicycle had a flat so we could not do a bike ride with our grandson. It was our anniversary and our son and his family came to surprise us and parking was a huge issue. We mentioned it was our anniversary and there was nothing done for us. We loved the room and view, but were not as impressed as we hoped to be. The service was just ok no one really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Overall for what we paid, we were very disappointed.

It started off pretty rocky with a beach renewal project going on (which we should of been notified more than 3 days before our trip) with a very large metal pipe blocking beach access right in front of the property. That got fixed within 2 days as they moved farther down the beach. The rooms were extremely nice with sliding doors to the deck/beach in the LR and also in the master BR. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Literally, you walk out your door and off your deck and you are on the beach. Some of the outdoor furniture was in very worn shape but we made it work. Be aware that you have to drag their chairs down to the beach yourself and set up their beach umbrellas. I'll definitely go back in the future.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The condo was absolutely gorgeous. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and the views of the beach were breathtaking. Thank you Mainsail for making our honeymoon amazing!

Our experience at Mainsail Beach Inn was fantastic! What a beautiful, peaceful place. Our condo was just lovely and so comfortable. And the view out of every window was beautiful. The beach is spectacular, and access to it is so easy. The only suggestion I'd make is that you consider adding a smart TV to the condo so that guests can access Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.

Just wanted a quick three night stay and this was the perfect place. Right on the Beach, beautiful room complete with all needed supplies in full sized kitchen. Extremely friendly staff, always asking if everything is ok. Beach lounge chairs and umbrellas setup every morning for free use, as well as paddle boards and kayaks. Will be back soon!

Our family rented two units the last week in July. I arrived first several hours before check in time. I was promptly greeted and able to check in early. I was given a quick tour of the unit and was beachside within an hour.
This set the tone for a week of helpful friendly service.
Our unit was lovely and updated. All amenities were as promised.

We stayed for two weeks and loved every minute. The access to the beach is unsurpassed, and the beach is beautiful, clean and quiet. The unit itself is comfortable, bright and clean, with a kitchen that is equipped for daily cooking of meals. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. We love this place!

Our stay @ the Mainsail Inn was excellent! Beth's attention to detail and personal approach to our 30th anniversary stay was off the charts! You could definitely tell that this type of service came naturally, obvious by her personality. No detail was left out, including giving us a card and some special treats on our Anniversary. She should be well rewarded for her professional yet personal excellent attention to detail. We will definitely be back, and look forward to more fun on the beach at Anna Maria Island.
