  • We’ve stayed at Mainsail several times. Great property, great location and great customer service from onsite team. One huge issue with unit 8. This unit sits directly under hvac units that were so noisy it was impossible to sleep. We did mention this to the staff. We would not rent this unit again unless this issue was rectified.

  • We have stayed at the Mainsail many times throughout the years (in all different units) and have always loved it! This time, we were staying with another family for their daughters' spring break week, so we rented Unit 11, the 3BR town house. We had previously (3 yrs ago)stayed in the other 3 BR townhouse on the opposite side of the building and really liked the lay out. The lay out of Unit 11 was perfect for you group of 6. The amenities were very nice and of course, the proximity to the beach is wonderful. The downside of this stay was the overall condition of the unit, almost every painted surface, particularly all of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets (including the built in nightstands) was chipped and peeling. The deck, with a lovely view, was very dirty and the paint was also peeling out there. The furniture, especially the couch was visibly dirty. These are easy fixes, I am not sure why this has not been addressed. This is an overall lovely unit, but I would not spend the money on it again unless these issues are fixed. The Mainsail is in an excellent location on the island and we enjoyed riding bikes to many local restaurants and shops. Our favorites were Harry's Bar and Grill, Hurricane Hanks and Minnie's for breakfast.
