Our spacious three bedroom beachfront retreats offer up to 1,627 square feet of fully furnished living space, perfect for a long vacation on Anna Maria Island. Each suite offers two to three bathrooms, washer and dryer and spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico from your private deck or balcony.

Our vacation rental interiors are professionally and artistically decorated with the perfect combination of warmth and luxury. Each suite features marble in the kitchen and bathrooms, polished pine flooring throughout, luxurious fabrics and a separate dining area. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen with custom wood cabinetry and stainless steel appliances makes for effortless entertaining.

This three bedroom residence is located on the first floor and offers a deck overlooking the beach and the Gulf. It can accommodate 6 guests comfortably with a maximum total of 8 guests. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and two twin beds in the third bedroom.

Featuring historically inspired architecture and craftsmanship, professionally designed interiors, authentic pine flooring, designer fabrics and comfortable furniture. Mainsail Beach Inn units offer direct beach access, heated resort-style swimming pool, hot tub, poolside grill, private beach lounge chairs & umbrellas and bicycle rentals.

Beach Dream Vacation

for a second year our family rented 3 units for 4 beautiful days at Mainsail Beach Inn. Mat and the staff made our experience absolutely flawless. the units are spotless and wonderfully appointed. Very comfortable. We plan to sign up for another fabulous stay next summer!

What a wonderful time we had at unit 1 at Mainsail.

They had 2 umbrellas in the front closet.
The king faces the gulf/beach with a private bath.
The next bedroom has 2 twins and a private bath.
The 3rd bedroom has the queen but the bathroom is across the hall - so not private.
PLENTY of toys for the kiddies in the dock box at the pool.
Heated pool and very hot hottub.
Matthew at the front desk was very accommodating and we appreciated all the concessions he made for us.
Pray we can stay again in this unit - it was clean and had everything we needed.

My friends and I celebrated my bithday in the gorgeous init 1. It was shear bliss enjoying the closness to the water, and the patio, with all of the extra unit luxuries, provided such pleasing comfort. The trip was beyond perfection, and filled with delightful coziness!!!

This was our first visit to AMI and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful condo or location. Seeing the sunset every night directly from the deck was priceless. The condo (Unit 1) was very clean and perfect for our family's needs. Rhonda and Matt are so accommodating and helpful. Excellent communication throughout the entire process. We hope to return again. Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing time! I'm sure the other units are amazing but Unit 1 is the best. Can't beat the view and the immediate access to the beach. Literally 30 steps away from the water! The condo is very spacious and so well laid out. We had everything we needed and more!

This condo was exactly as described. The unit was very clean and the location is awesome! We enjoyed lunch everyday on the patio just outside with a beautiful view of the beach and water.

Outstanding property, spotless, and very comfortable! Unit 1 has a great layout with plenty of rooms to spread out together and to have privacy. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and the kitchen offered an abundance of space to prep and cook with ease. My family loved the location and assigned parking. There is no traffic to worry about hearing. Just steps away from the beach where chairs were provided. Customer service was excellent. John and Matt were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Mainsail for a worry free and fun vacation experience.
Beautiful View and Great Location

My step-mom, sister, nieces and myself stayed there over the 3-day weekend. We loved the unit and being able to walk right out to the beach. The unit fit our needs and was in a great location on the island. The only thing was there was mold in the bathroom next to the queen bed and we would recommend hand bars in the bathroom for elderly.

Our first floor end unit was 100 steps to the beach! Unbelievable location and beautiful unit. Management was very accommodating and easy to work with. Unit was very well-equipped and comfortable. Highly recommend for a week or month’s stay.

We had the most wonderful week in April! Loved the complementary bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, umbrellas. The pull out couch bed had a super comfortable mattress. Best of all...mainsail has an unbeatable location for the ocean and beach. Magical spot for our families. We will return as often as we can!

We enjoyed our month in this unit. It was well laid out, clean and convenient, and situated directly on the beach. The kitchen was not stocked very well for cooking. We tried to book the same unit for next winter and they advised that the rent would be 80% more for January, then the high rate we were already paying in March-_we declined!

Lovely Condo

My husband and I, along with my mom, stepdad, sister, and brother-in-law stayed in Unit 1, ground floor, on the beach. Everything was great except that we like to cook and the kitchen is not very well equipped. We managed with what was there. The concierge was wonderful. We found it great to have a staff member available during business hours, unlike other self-catered B and Bs.
A Slice of Paradise on AMI

The Mainsail Inn was a perfect location for our family celebration of my parents passing. We were there for one week in November. The space was lovely and very adequate in terms of storage. We had several meals there as a large group which worked out great. The back deck was spacious and inviting to watch the sunset or people walking along the beach in the morning. The sea grass was cut down and made it very inviting to view the surroundings.I walked the beach every day and enjoyed it thoroughly. The wraparound windows were a plus to view the beautiful Gulf. Each bathroom was fully equipped with hairdryer, soaps ,shampoos conditioners ,and shower gel. The kitchen had adequate supplies for a meal. A couple of minor things. The ledge from outside going into the living room area had two step ups and several of us tripped on it. Also the couch and chairs weren’t that comfortable. The beds were quite comfortable and there was a tv in each room. There were kayaks paddle boards and bikes nearby if you wanted to use them.Beverly with the property management was very accommodating. We had a couple of minor things which she took care of immediately. All in all a beautiful place and we would definitely come back.
#1 Condo

We all loved the condo including the comfort and location.
I had condo#1. First floor. It was right in front of the beach and had immediate access. There were 8 of us. We slept very comfortably including The two adults that slept on the pull out couch.
Concerns were the lack of toilet paper provided and the two showers outside that did not work. The water spouts did keep our feet cleaned.
And I would most definitely stay here again!
Paradise!

We have stayed at the Mainsail for the last 4 years. This past August, we stayed in Unit 1, which was located on the bottom level. We were a family of 5, so it was perfect. There was 3 bedrooms and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was a beautiful unit. Very clean and plenty of room. The amenities were great, especially the kitchen. It was fully equipped and we were able to prepare food and eat at the unit instead of eating out all of the time. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was very convenient. We didn't have to go home with dirty clothes! You couldn't ask for a more beautiful location! Right on the beach. Just a walk out the door and you are there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A shout out to Manny for fixing the shower head in the MB! This is our go to happy place when visiting AMI. We will be returning next year.

Week in Paradise

For a long time, we wanted to stay at the Mainsail; and the 3-bedroom accommodations were perfect for our extended family of 4 adults and 3 boys. The room exceeded our expectations as to the layout and spaciousness. We had all the kitchen items and daily necessities we needed. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board. Mary and Manny were great - always pleasant and very accommodating.

We fell in love with Mainsail several years ago and come back every year. As always, the island and Mainsail Beach Inn did not disappoint. There were some new upgrades to our unit this year which was nice to see and the staff is always friendly. The only thing I would say that I miss is the beach side help that used to be available. That extra hand to help lift the paddleboard onto the storage area, lift the heavy chairs off the big stack, even drill the hole in the sand for the umbrella was so nice for us. Things like that, while not needed to have a great time, make the difference between great and exceptional service to match the exceptional location and unit. Even without those little perks, we had a great time, love AMI and Mainsail and will continue to come back.

great but not quite the same.

This was our third year in a row coming to mainsail. The things that keep us coming back, aside from the fantastic location and units themselves were the little things that you never had to worry about, that exceptional service experience. So coming into our third year, I knew what I am used to and my review comes from this lens. Overall things were as expected. great unit, clean and stocked. However I did notice that the little extras were lacking. For example, the past 2 years every morning we had someone outside to help us get beach chairs set up, our umbrella set up (because it is trickier than expected), and if we needed help with paddleboards, kayaks etc, there was staff there and eager to help. This year, when we went to get our chairs set up, the chairs were locked up. We had to go into the office and find someone to unlock it for us which they did without issue but we had to set them up, get our own umbrella set up, etc. In addition, in the past, at the end of the day, the same person available to help with chairs, kayaks, etc. put the chairs away. This year there was a sign up saying that it is our responsibility to take care of this and there could be fees if not done. In the past there was never signs up with notices like that. The staff would take the time at check in to explain these things as well as the rules about sea turtles, etc. which coming from Nebraska is a necessary reminder. The other thing different is that when we went to check in at 3:40PM. The lobby was locked, the code I received did not work. I called the number provided and they said that it is not 4 yet and the code would work then. In the past someone would have seen me at the front door, let me in and personally checked on it if it wasn't ready.
None of this made the experience bad and I would certainly come back but the little differences in service are really what sets you apart. Hoping things are back to "normal" next time.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom beachfront rental... it was beautiful and we were just steps from the beautiful white beach. The staff was all so helpful... excellent service. We loved using the bikes to explore the island.

Words are not enough

Words are not nearly enough to explain our experience at Mainsail. They are absolutely so accommodating and wonderful people. We stayed in the beach front, first floor suites #1 and #2 with brand new furnishings, beautiful decor and the perfect view. Our families stayed in the suites for my husband and I's wedding. Mainsail recognized our new marriage and spent so much time accommodating and wishing us and our families well. Amazing experience, cannot wait to go back!
The most comfortable way to visit the beach!

Had a great time at the Mainsail Beach Inn! 3 bedroom unit had everything we needed. The location was great! Steps away from the water so we were able to go to our unit with ease for water, bathroom breaks, etc. Even when we were not on the beach we were able to enjoy the beautiful view and hear the waves from
inside our unit with the screened door open. At night, it was very quiet. My family enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks and having beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels available. Every night we watched the incredible sunset right outside our unit. It was fantastic. The beach was very clean. (The only thing that we would have wished for was no Lovebugs as they were a nuisance but they are just part of nature so like everyone else we just learned about them and dealt with them. Thankful that they were only heavy during the windless day on 1 of our 4 days there.) We ordered take out fresh cinnamon rolls (best ever) from Ginny’s and Jane E’s Cafe and also ate there one morning (recommend.) Our best dinner out was Blue Marlin Grill about 15 minutes away. Would definitely come back and stay at the Mainsail Beach Inn again!
Amazing Location

Absolutely lovely stay, right on the beach. Absolutely can't beat the sunsets here. Felt like a beach house but with additional amenities like a pool and hot tub. Full kitchen, washer/dryer in the unit, etc. Everything we could have asked for and more.
Lovely Week!

Had the 3 bedroom corner unit on the first floor.
Could walk out and be in the sand in five steps.
Lucked into a perfect of weather. Staff was wonderful (Chase) and helpful with whatever we asked.
Only complaint is the ugly stack of over 150 beach chairs at the entrance to the beach. Even on the most crowded day, only ten or twelve chairs were needed. Ruins the view.
