Where Is It and How to Get There

Bradenton Beach is on the southern end of the island. It’s also the home of historic Bridge Street. The original wooden bridge was once the only way to access the island from the mainland without using a boat. The bridge has been replaced with a popular fishing pier that leads onto the main street. 

Getting to Bridge Street from anywhere on Anna Maria Island is a breeze. If your Anna Maria condo rental is on Bradenton Beach, Bridge Street, and the pier is within walking or biking distance. You can also ride the Island Trolley for free. It stops at the start of Bridge Street close to the pier!

Anna Maria Island restaurants are known for their variety and fresh seafood, and you won’t go hungry on Bridge Street. Whether you want a light lunch at a local café or savor a delish meal after a day of sightseeing, you’ll find it on the historic street.

The Blue Marlin Grill will take care of any seafood cravings you may have. If Italian is on your mind, the CostaVille Pizza Grill has something that will tempt your taste buds. The Island Creperie is the perfect place to stop for dessert. If you want a more formal dining setting, the Bridge Inn has a pub and restaurant.

Along with enjoying the beaches and the amazing views, there are plenty of activities on the island. You can spend a few hours playing miniature golf on Bridge Street at The Fish Hole Adventure Golf or explore the island on a Segway tour. Car lovers will enjoy a private driving experience.
