Coquina Beach Market

Coquina Beach on Anna Maria Island hosts the locally-treasured Coquina Beach Market. The market is a local mainstay, featuring an array of artisans in baking, painting, photography, crafting, jewelry-making, and woodworking. The food is a highlight. Local-only fresh produce, baked goods, gourmet foods, and spices are all present on a typical weekend.

Conveniently, Coquina Beach is a major stop for the Anna Maria Island trolley service. Simply leap off at 2650 Gulf Drive S., Bradenton Beach, and pick it back up on one of the 20-minute intervals, from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every day. The island trolley service is free regardless if you are a local or island guest.

The market schedule varies on the season. It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday from November through March, every Wednesday from December through July, and every Friday from April into July.

You don’t even have to buy anything! Just stopping by and exploring along Coquina Beach is one of the most rewarding Anna Maria Island things to do!

City of Anna Maria Farmers Market

The city of Anna Maria hosts its own farmer’s market. The focus is on fresh food, like organic produce, microgreens, and kettle corn, among many others. There are also prepared foods and condiments, including Himalayan salts, honey, numerous sauces, salsas, and fresh spices.

The market is every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. it usually ramps up in October and carries through May. It’s a bit smaller than Coquina Beach, but you are bound to find some real unique goodies.

Bridge Street Farmers Market

The Bridge Street Market is located at the grand Anna Maria Island Bridge Street Pier. It is a fantastic area with a clear message to Shop, Dine, and Play, from Beach to Bay – the pier’s motto.

At the market, you’ll discover music, art, jewelry, watercolors, and other creative work crafted exclusively from locals. The Bridge Street Market has a clear focus on art, but that’s not to say you won’t find some treats, like tacos, burgers, egg sandwiches, and more from local food trucks and booth vendors.

The market takes place every Sunday between November and April, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Be sure to arrive early, so you don’t miss out on fresh sandwiches, baked goods, and other treats. The market is located at 107 Bridge St, Bradenton Beach.

Bridge Street is near numerous Anna Maria Island attractions. We suggest you take an afternoon stopover at the Fish Hole Miniature Golf for a family-friendly game. There’s also Island Time Bar and Grill for the adults and the remarkable and quiet Cortez Beach, both right in the area.
